Valuecruncher Private Company Valuations (US$3,500)
Users of the Valuecruncher service often ask us about obtaining valuations of private businesses. Valuecruncher does provide a private company valuation (or a public company valuation of a company not in our dataset).
Our private company valuations use the same discounted cash flow methodology as our main Valuecruncher listed company service. We deliver the valuations in a document format (PDF). We currently do not provide private company valuations using the on-line interactive Valuecruncher interface.
Why Get A Valuation?
The primary reason that people come to us for private company valuations is that the owners or stakeholders of a business simply want to know what it is worth. Often there is not a specific reason for the valuation. Getting a robust valuation has typically been an expensive process. Valuecruncher aims to make valuations available at an affordable price. Simply so owners and stakeholders feel they can get a valuation complete when they want one.
Sometimes there are specific reasons businesses need valuations: raising capital, settling disputes (including matrimonial), assessing potential mergers, takeovers or joint ventures, etc. Valuecruncher valuations are applicable for all of these situations.
Example Valuation Report
A sample valuation report is included below. This is the format that the report comes in. Valuecruncher provides no services beyond this report. If you need a valuation report completed for a specific regulatory purpose (for example Section 409A) you should check with your financial or legal adviser to determine whether our reports are sufficient for your purposes.

How Do I Get One?
Step 1 - Input Sheet

Step 2 - Submit Input Sheet
Send your completed input sheet to feedback@valuecruncher.com.
Step 3 - Payment
We will send you details to provide payment for your valuation.
Step 4 - Receive Report
We will email you the finished report. We aim to complete the reports within three working days of receiving the completed input sheet. If there are questions about the input sheet or report we are available or will contact you by email.
